It Couldn't Have Been Better
Having already seen the boys twice in Boston, MA and Albany, NY did I know what I was in for on the "Last Wild Night" on Sunday at Giant Stadium. But oh, was I mistaken. What a bonus to hear "Raise Your Hands". I've been a believer since the beginning so it is always a treat to hear songs live you don't expect. And if you ever wanna win a bet hands down, take someone who doesn't appreciate Bon Jovi to one of their concerts and they'll be a convert. To hear the versions of "Never Say Goodbye" and "I'll Be There For You" they did, and if you were there, you know what I mean, was POWERFUL!! To hear 65,000 plus sing back to the boys and so clear was incredible. The energy was intense, they held nothing back. From Tico hitting bombs on the drums, to David hitting every key just right, to Richie playing with such passion, and Jon doing what he does best. "Lay Your Hands on Me" was unbelievable and lets not forget "Keep the Faith" or "Blood On Blood". Another treat was Richie doing "Stranger". Once again they truely did (if it ever was in question) solidify their spot as one of the best. Here's to the boys for an incredible evening. I look forward to the new material, the box set and the twentieth anniversary of Jovi Magic!!!
