What a night! It had been one of the hottest days of summer 2000 and after booking into our hotel, we headed across london on the tube...Queing up outside the stadium and the atmosphere was buzzing! The gates were finally opened and everyone cheered and headed up the stairs. Once inside the ground we headed towards the stage and waited patiently for the concert to start. The atmosphere was fantastic. The guys headed onto the stage and everyone surged forwards. I've never experienced anything like this in my life! What a concert! Toploader were the supporting act and played their then latest single, 'dancing in the moonlight'. I cannot think of anything bad about the concert. Even the journey back to the hotel was good, thanks to the organisational skills of the police.
