Bon Jovi Rocks NCR Center 80's style!!
The spirit of the 80"s was brought back to South Florida on Sunday as Bon Jovi took the stage at the NCR Center for their second U.S stop. After five years since their last visit, the band is back and very much alive, touring their platinum selling album "Crush". Following a horrid performance by musical mismatch Less Than Jake, the crowd was more than anxious for Jon and the boys to begin working their magic. The crowd, which to much amazement was pretty diverse in age group, roared as Bon Jovi entered the stage through an elevator and opened with "One Wild Night" off their new album. From there on the night was set for hours of cheers and dancing. As always most of the excitement came when the band played their older hits such as "You Give Love A Bad Name". At one point when the crowd seemed tired, Jon revived them by saying "I know what's wrong with you. We've been gone for such a long time, you all got use to those boy bands. We're a men band". The wildest moment took place when "Bad Medicine" was played. You can feel the energy rush through the arena as people gave it all they had. Two very lucky fans even got the chance to go upstage and dance with Jon. Things slowed down when they played their slower songs such as "Bed of Roses" and "I'll Be There For You". All of a sudden the arena was filled with romance as couples hugged and kissed and all the lonely girls could only admire how sexy Jon looked singing them. After fooling the crowd twice the show finally ended to much satisfaction with the song "Wanted Dead or Alive" The hairspray syndrome is long gone but the spirit remains. Bon Jovi certainly proved they can still party 80's style into the millenium and will continue to do so for years to come. "We've seen a million faces, and we've rocked them all"
