Rockin Show!!

A review by Manimal5196 / manimal5196@hotmail.com

Overall an awesome day and an awesome night. My 3 good friends and I drove from Farmingdale, NY for the show. Had some time to hang out in the local area before the show. Goo Goo Dolls opened up and they were actually really good. They played a lot of high energy up-tempo songs, closing their set with the hit song "Iris".
Then of course was the main event - Bon Jovi. From the moment they stepped out on stage everyone was on their feet and they stayed that way till the very end. Just an amazing show by one of the best rock bands of our time. The new songs sounded really good live. Some of my favorites from that night were "Undivided", "Hook Me Up", and "Everyday". Though it's not really one of my favorite songs it was kind of cool to hear "Joey" - it's one of those really nice story-book like songs with a positive message at the end of it....find a better life - and after all, isn't that what we're all trying to do anyway!? And then of course the classic stuff - no matter how many times you hear them they always sound great and fresh and they really get the crowd going. "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Bad Medicine", "Runaway", "It's My Life" (a somewhat new classic), "Born To Be My Baby" just to name some of the songs that got me pumped up. I was rather surprised in a good way when they played "In These Arms" - totally wasn't expecting it. I was expecting to hear maybe "Keep The Faith" or "Wild In The Streets" but "In These Arms" was definitely a nice surprise - a very underrated song if you ask me. But from start to finish just an awesome show.
