11 February 2003 - East Rutherford, NJ, USA Concert Review 14 February 2003
This was my favorite concert thus far

A review by BonJovi4ever / jaxinnj@yahoo.com

I have read veviews about how people get all choked up and how the performance moved them and I kind of chuckle at them. Well, this show actually made me feel this way. On the last tour people have said that Jon was starting to show his age and he didn't have the energy last tour like he did on past tours. Tuesday night he was bad in old form like he didn't miss a beat.

The stage was quite intense with the huge satellite setup. The lasers were a great touch and so were the videos that told the stories of the songs performed. I have been upset with songs that get played on the set list, such as I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, but when you are there live and hearing them it doesn't matter what they play. It's all great. I just wish that they would do something from These Days. The new endings to Someday I'll Be Saturday Night and Born To Be My Baby were great! I was shocked how well Richie held his own on I'll Be There For You. He had the growd in his hands, unlike when he performed Stranger on the last tour. And if you didn't get a look at his shirt, it was a "Fucking Sweet" shirt. Undivided was as amazing live as I expected it to. Hook Me Up was great and I love the distortion when he sings it. Misunderstood live just make me like it a whole lot more. The story that he told before the song was quite interesting. Raise Your Hands was great and if you get a copy of the concert and hear the guitar give out in the beginning, something happened to Richie's guitar. I don't know if he broke a string or what but there was a quick change before the vocals started. The show lasted slighty over 2 1/2 hours.

I could go on and on about the show but you just have to see it for yourself. He left us with a "see you in August" and had a nice movie ending with great outtakes. They are worth sitting around and watching. If you guys are going to AC, see you there!
