They're back!
i can't quite remember how many bon-jovi concerts i have seen over the years, however i can remember that they were all great shows. Last nights show was no exception. Jon gets you up and keeps you through the whole show. There is never a let down or cool off period for the band. I had a few (for the lack of a better word) disapointments with the song set. the exclusions of songs such as these days, runaway, this aint a love song, the rarely played live never say goodbye, or even the recent single thank you for loving me came as quite a surprise. a last negative note, where did the harmonizing of a song go? That was always a highlight of a show. on to the positives. WOW, great show, again. if i counted right six songs from the "New Jersey" album. If your a new bon-jovi fan, this was a little taste of their glory years as they say. (other reviews, i'm sure will have the song sets) on to what i feel are the highlights of the show. the songs from crush are great live songs. no 80's solos, yes this is a highlight. the projection screen made it easy to see from anywhere in the house. The sound and the lights were incredible. all the marks of a great band with a great show. whether you have seen bon-jovi before or not you will not be let down. This is a great live band, a must see.
