27 February 2003 - Milwaukee, WI, USA Concert Review 4 March 2003

A review by Bon Randyovi / rlucassen@yahoo.com

I LOVE Bon Jovi's music. I had a really good time at the concert, but I think it could have been better. First, I didn't have good seats but I think the concert could have been a lot louder. I was VERY disappointed that there were NO songs played from These Day (I debate this as Bon Jovi's best album - against Slippery When Wet and New Jersey). My favorite part of the concert is when Jon sang "Right Side of Wrong", Jon really got into this song and everybody could really feel how great of a singer Jon truely is. "Wanted Dead or Alive" is another song that I really "felt". The band seems to like "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" -- I think this is one of their worst songs ever. They also played "Wild in the Streets" -- there are SOOOOO MANY better songs than these. There are so many great songs that they never play. I want to hear "Wild is the Wind", "Stick to Your Guns", "I'd Die for You", "These Day", "This Aint a Love Song", "Hearts Breaking Even", "If That's What it Takes", or "Santa Fe"...... most "non-fans" don't even know some of these GREAT songs. I like the album version of "Raise Your Hands", but it just didn't song right and it didn't "hit" me. They could have at least done "Always". They only slowed the show don't once (when they did "Right Side of Wrong"). I would have liked to hear some slower songs because I think that is when Jon really sings well and gets into the songs.
