WOW!
Bon Jovi has been a great love of mine for a long time, and it was so great to see them back in fine form Sunday night! You could feel the anticipation in the air as you saw them standing in the elevator waiting to make their entrance. And what an entrance it was! They looked touched as they stepped on stage to hoards of screaming fans, myself included. It is always visibly evident how much their fans mean to them. They brought everyone to their feet with the opening number, "One Wild Night", from the latest album "Crush." Bon Jovi ALWAYS gives a great performance and this was no exception. Having seen them 10 times over various tours, I would have to say they are bck with a vengence. The energy level in the Mellon Arena was constant and could not be broken. Familiar favorites,"Blood on Blood", "Living on a Prayer", and "Bad Medicine" were almost drowned out by the singing of the fans. The band performed for more than 2 1/2 hours with two encores, finalizing the night with "Wanted Dead or Alive". It was the perfect end to a perfect show and evening. Bon Jovi is and always will be true performers in every sense of the word!
