22 March 2003 - Charlotte, NC, USA Concert Review 31 March 2003
Wonderful Night In Charlotte

A review by Katie / Katie27360@aol.com

I went to the concert with my mom, who had attended a Bon Jovi concert on his first tour. This was one of my first concerts...and WOW. I was pouring sweat by time I left (either due to the lack of air or the massive jumping that I was doing). I'm more of a hard punk rock girl, but I was raised on Bon Jovi so I just had to go to the concert of the band that sung the first song I learned to sing, "Shot Through The Heart".

Our seats were incredible (Parquet/Floor) and I felt like I was right on stage with Jon and the boys. They kept my energy at top level for the whole concert. My mom and I seemed to be the most energetic (and more sober) people in our section, and we had our own good time. I enjoyed the Goo Goo Dolls, but when the boys left, and the men came out to play, I instantly felt excitement rise. "Bounce" was a great choice to start out with, my favorite off the new album. I would have loved to gotten closer to the stage to see them...but security wouldn't allow me to enter the "mini-mosh pit".

My mom says that the guys are just as energetic as when they had first started. I don't know if any concert I go to will be able to live up to Bon Jovi. :D
