12 April 2003 - San Jose, CA, USA Concert Review 14 April 2003
Bon Jovi rocks my world!!

A review by Joann / purplstar8@aol.com

Although it was a cold and rainy day in San Jose,CA, once the guys hit the stage in our beautiful arena the room suddenly became hot and sweaty in Jon's words! Out of no where Jon jumped out on stage with the most incredible energy. The show started off with a bang while they performed some of their new songs from "Bounce."
As the night when on, the guys seem to just absorb the energy coming from the crowed. It was a great show with laser lights, inredible background lighting, the works! Richie was unbelievable! Words can't describe what I felt watching him play, it was insane what he can do with a guitar! He makes some GREAT faces too while he plays! Tico was soo awesome as well! And Dave played a beautiful touching song on his own while the other guys changed clothes backstage. QVC was if full force, with their cameras at different angles of the stage, and their buses and trucks all around the outside of the arena.
The guys kept the crowd on their feet the enitre time. As for me, I basically gave myself an aerobic workout for the night, I could NOT stop jumping @, and wailing my arms around to try and get Jon's attention (We had GREAT seats). Jon was absolutly wonderful! He had sooo much energy, and was so captivating. Jon makes you feel as though you are the only one in the entire place, he sings JUST to you, the hundreds of people around you just fade away! They guys ended the night with "Shout" which was really fun, and a great song to end the night. Jon also decided to treat the crowd, which of course was mostly women, by ripping his shirt off at the end. It was all over then! Everyone went crazy, and Jon just looked at us with a big smile, and loved it! I know this review is really long, but I really wanted to share exactly what I felt and saw watching my favorite band of all time, for the first time in my life.
At the end of the night we waited in the rain by the backstage enterance to watch the guys leave, but after about 45 minutes, I believe, they drove by without stoping to say hi to us. But NO hard feelings, the guys deserves time away from us to relax! They put on a GREAT show that I will never forget! Next time they come @, front row baby! I LOVE you guys!
