19 April 2003 - Las Vegas, NV, USA Concert Review 21 April 2003
L.A. vs. Anaheim vs. Las Vegas

A review by lewilew

Hello Bon Jovi fans,

I saw them in Los Angeles, Anaheim and Las Vegas, but I wanted to wait to give a review until after I saw this concert so I could compare the 3.

Los Angeles was great because I hadn't seen them since the Crush tour in Vegas and it was just great seeing them live again, but I noticed that the energy level in the arena was lacking a little. It was a combination sit-down-and-then-stand-up-for-the-favorite-songs concert. Still a great show though. Then, I saw them in Anaheim and boy what a show! It was a stand-up-and-dance-for-the-entire-show concert! Both concerts were about 2 hours 20 minutes.

In Las Vegas, his concert was benefitting the Tiger Woods Foundation. This show was disappointing only because it ran approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes. He cut out about 25 minutes of songs! The concert started an hour later than the 2 in California plus Chris Tucker and Tiger Woods came on stage to say "thank you," etc. I think maybe all of that cut into the amount of time Bon Jovi had to perform. He ended at exactly midnight. I kept thinking, "play longer." But maybe Mandalay Bay demands that the acts finish by midnight. Who knows? Sorry to see him finish so soon.

P.S. I did stand for this whole concert.

Thanks for reading my impression of the 3 concerts...
Lisa
