13 June 2003 - Munich, Germany Concert Review 14 June 2003
Congratulations to Bon Jovi!!!

A review by Martin / speedbrake@gmx.de

Wow! This was the show of all shows, the concert of all concerts. 3 hours of pure energy, almost undescribable, definetely unbeatable. It was my fourth Bon Jovi show and the third one within 2 weeks. Forget the sum of the shows in Gelsenkirchen and Bremen... Munich was the place to be for the best rock show I´ve ever seen.

This show had everything: A setlist that was very much different from most of the shows of the Bounce-tour so far. "Lay your hands on me" was the first surprise for me, the extended version of "Keep the faith" with parts of "Sympathy for the devil" was just brilliant. "Bed of roses" was amazing for me personally as I love that song and I had never seen it in concert before. The whole olypmic stadium covered in the light of the 70something thousand people with the last light of the sundawn behind the stage. What an athmosphere...

Then Jon changed the setlist and started playing the chords of "Diamond Ring", a real surprise, just as "Hero" afterwards. I always wanted to see "Something to believe in" in a live show. That wish came true for me yesterday. As for the rest... well just look at the setlist. "These days" and "Twist & Shout" did a perfect end of a perfect show.

Congratulations Jon, Richie, David, Tico and Hugh... this was gigantic. A night i will never forget and I´m sure many thousand others will not forget it as well.
