22 June 2003 - Glasgow, Scotland, UK Concert Review 23 June 2003
Check This!

A review by Scookuk

This was the third time I had seen BJ, 1st at Gateshead(crush) then at Hampden(one wild night), although Ibrox was a good gig, once the fans started to liven up, I don't think it matched Hampden!!
Maybe it was because LIVE didn't get the crowd going like matchbox20 did at Hampden? or maybe it was because half the crowd only knew the Crossroad album and nothin else!? The best example of that being at the encore when BJ started rockin with I Got the Girl and my bro's and I were amongst the very few singin and jumpin with thier hands in the air!

Even Jon commented on the quiet crowd before waking most people up with Saturday Night which was fantastic.
One of the highlights was definately Dave on Keys, he has to be one of the best players in the world!! I'm gonna buy his stuff, check it out on line, amazing! And of course Ritchie with I'll be there for you, really good, different, but I think I would've prefered some of his own material. And I cant wait to hear Always live!! I'll keep goin til I do. I tried to entice the guys to play it by holding up my ALWAYS sign, but no luck. I guess playin it at 2% of your gigs makes it even more special when U hear it. And lucky Germany getting half acoustic set half live set, AMAZING!

Nonetheless, I'm not moaning, BON JOVI rock! I really cant wait for the acoustic album, hopefully with an intimate tour schedule(fingers crossed) and the triple box set, how exciting!!!
Keep the Faith guys! Go buy all the albums!
Steven

P.S Why does all the F'n t shirts only come in large and X large!? If i could get one to fit I'd wear it out proud, instead of jus wearin it to bed!
