28 June 2003 - London, UK Concert Review 29 June 2003
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A review by bryan / bryan_20011@lycos.com

This was my fourth Jovi show and each time they get better and better, but why hyde park?? 92000 people was fantastic, but even with all the troubles of leaving the MK Bowl at least it sloped so you could actually see the stage, most of this show i could see nothing, anyway, that is my only complaint of the night.
The setlist was the best i have seen, all the old favorites were great to hear 'Bad Name' 'Prayer' 'Medicine/Shout' but what really made it best was songs like 'Lay your hands on me' which hasn't been played that much on this tour, 'These Days' one of their best songs yet they so rarely play it and ofcourse 'Never say goodbye' how many people saw that one coming??
'keep the faith' had it's usual break of 'Sympathy for the Devil' which i think is such a good touch to that song, but the best song of the night for me had to be 'Raise your hands' just so much energy.
Didn't feel like their was enough people there that knew some of the older not so big songs which was a shame, during 'Blood on Blood' where I was standing there was only me and some crazy gal singing the words to the verse, but i'm sure it wasn't like that all around.
So once again twelve out of ten, i just wish theyed hurry up and build the new Wembley, would have been a much better venue.
Can't wait for the box set!
E-Mail me and let me know what you thought of the show
