Great Concert
I thought the Goo Goo Dolls were a great opening act. Even though Jon Rzeznik seemed like he had a few too many drinks, he entertained the crowd in between songs. He got the crowd involved and didn't just play songs.
This was my first Bon Jovi concert. I thought it was fantastic. There were some moments of disappointment such as Jon not singing the high notes on Livin on a Prayer and other songs. I really don't think he can hit those notes anymore.
The sound was not the best. The beginning of Undivided was a little muffled. The screen in the background did add feeling to the song though.
As far as Jon not having the energy, I felt he seemed a little tired but did get the crowd going on every song. Interacting with fans on and off stage all night. Fan reaction was great throughout the concert.
I left with a feeling of being totally entertained. I saw Dave Matthews the week before. He just played songs and didn't say anything between songs. No crowd interaction at all. What a difference with the Goo and Bon Jovi.
