Great Show
The Bon Jovi show in Alpine Valley, WI was the greatest show I've seen. The band and the crowd alike where full of energy.
The show started with Sheryl Crow. She is not one of my favorite artists, but she does put on a good stage show. She played a mix of old and new, and overall, it was very good.
After a half an hour wait (but it didn't seem that long) Bon Jovi finally took the stage. He started off with the song Bounce, and then went into some older songs. The mix of old and new was perfect. They played all the classics: Livin' On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Dead or Alive... you name it, they played it. The band was full of energy all night long. It was amazing how much Jon jumped around. I was personally impressed with the way he interacted with all the fans, both those onstage and those off. I also liked the fact that they played straight through, not stopping in the middle for breaks or costume changes.
Overall, I was, and still am, very impressed with the show. I will be returning next time they come to Wisconsin, if I get the chance. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity, for anyone who appreciates Bon Jovi and their music. |
