Awesome for a first timer!!
This was my first time ever seeing Bon Jovi in concert. I've been a fan from the very beginning in 1983, so this show was just perfect for me to start out with!! WOW!! The energy from the band was incredible! They were everything I'd ever thought they'd be! I was really psyched to hear the "oldies" but goodies, plus some newer stuff. Bon Jovi's rendition of "Fever" WOW! If you were female, you were in a puddle with the husky timbre to his voice, and the sexy way he was moving his body. I was not at all suprised to see them open with "Bounce" considering where he was! He also gave Boston a kick by saying he'd been waiting for 6 months to play at this stadium.
The Goo Goo Dolls did a decent job, it's unfortunate they started so early, most people were still milling in. Sheryl Crow rocked! It was starting to rain and she asked the crowd if they were getting wet. When everyone responded yes, she said "I think that's pretty appropriate for a Bon Jovi concert."! :) :)
The New Jersey boys really rocked last night, and I felt like it was worth every moment of being a fan for the last 20 years! Thanks!!
