Bon Jovi Rocked WI for Round 3
First, I wanna start out and say that this was easily one of the best shows this tour. I was shocked to read some of the reviews from Tweeter, about a lack of energy from the guys, etc. On 7/12/03, the guys were ON FIRE! Jon was bouncing around the stage all night, interacting with everyone in the entire place in some way or another. His voice was excellent, he even did hit a verse of the high notes on Livin' on a Prayer. All the guys looked amazing, which really isn't tough in their case. The crowd at Alpine was just unbelieveable. We were as loud as could be, and the guys were definately feeding off of it. The set list was great. It was a really awesome surprise to hear I'd Die for You. The versions of Keep The Faith and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night were some of the best live performances I've ever heard. I also loved the mix of the new and old songs. And hearing These Days was a dream come true. The set list was ideal. (although personally i would have loved to hear never say goodbye) It was also a lovely surprise when Jon ripped open his shirt during the encore, the crowd definately appreciated that by the volume of the cheers. All in all, one of the best Bon Jovi shows in recent times. I had the best night of my life. Hope to see the guys back out on the road in 2004 or 2005. I'll hit as many of those shows as possible!
