99 In The Rain
It may have been raining but the flow of energy was hot! I was sad that so many weren't that interested in seeing Jason Mraz and Pete Torn that most didn't show up 'til they were done. I like them and they were pretty good opening acts; looking forward to seeing them tomorrow. There was a light rain as Pete Yorn performed but it just got heavier and heavier as Bon Jovi played. First off, the setlist:
Bounce, You Give Love A Bad Name, Undivided, Everyday, Livin' On A Prayer, Captain Crash And The Beauty Queen From Mars, Keep The Faith, Wanted Dead Or Alive, Can't Help Falling In Love, Bed Of Roses, It's My Life, Runaway, Just Older, Someday I'll Be Saturday Night, Joey, I'll Be There For You, Hook Me Up, Born To Be My Baby, I'll Sleep When I'n Dead, Raise Your Hands
Encore: I Got The Girl, I'd Die For You, Bad Medicine, Shout
Great setlist and they seemed to play forever but there was no special version of KTF and Sat. Night, nor was there any covers during KTF and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead. It was amazing how people were so soaked and didn't seem to mind. It seems as every show that past that they become my favorite show. In my opinion, I think the rain actually made the show. I remember seeing I Got The Girl at Giants Stadium 2001 and the crowd wasn't that into it. This time they were going crazy as they did with every song. It was just such a great scene that I am hoping for rain tomorrow. If you can find tickets, I suggest that you go because it's going to be an incredible show Friday night! I am hoping for Never Say Goodbye, we'll see.
