8 August 2003 - E. Rutherford, NJ, USA Concert Review 15 August 2003
Dream come true; thanks

A review by Thelma

My sister and I wanted to see the boys perform live in their home town; having experienced UK gigs where Bon Jovi comes to us, we decided to give something back and make the effort to come to the Giants Stadium, NJ to say thanks, in our own way, for the last 20 years. So we booked and we came for the two last shows of the Bounce tour. Was it worth it? You bet your life! The way Jon performed in those conditions on Thursday gave testimony to what he and the band feels for Bon Jovi's music and the fans; no medioca half hearted performance there, just pure brilliance.I felt for Hugh when Jon remarked about his glasses though because I was having the same problem! Friday was something else; Living in Sin has always been one of my favourite songs and to see this performed live caused me to get all emotional. I don't know if it was because they were home but there just seemed to be a special something in the air...Bounce at Hyde Park in London was one of the most fantastic days ever but this experience was indescribable..just being there. We realised a dream on Thursday and Friday and life dosen't get much better than that. We've already started saving for 2005.
