26 June 2003 - Manchester, UK Concert Review 7 July 2004
Now i aint gonna lie to you...

A review by Saint Sambora / jon.bon.jovi@btinternet.com

Well as i said i aint gonna lie to you the band were ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING im kinda young so it's the only concert ive ever been to but at least if i die tomorrow or the day after i will die a happy man/boy! The air had a smell to it on that day a smell of power and maybe a bit of burning oviously coming from the driving guitar of Richie who glittered (i think he had sequins on his jacket well its been a while so im not sure). Some wierd stuff happened on that day; i think Dave Bryan did some solo singing and i strangely liked the parts where Jon talked to the crowd wheras i usually skip that on the videos/DVD's.
Ticco ticked in the percussion section and im not opposed to the new basist Huge McDonald who has *SUCH* an amount of talent.

The concert surpassed all my expectations and took watching Cristiano Ronaldo dance around the Charlton defenders and even Ryan Giggs running past 6 Arsenal Players off my top Old Trafford related incidents (maybe not Beck's half way shot against Totenham; maybe that as well...) and The gig in itself proved to my friend that Bon Jovi are so so so so so much better than monkey lads Oasis because they could only fill Maine road in Manchester.

Please please please let them play there again and if you read this and i was standin next to you in the second section(im the guy with light brown hair, about 5ft 8 who had the denim jacket and the black t-shirt) e-mail me
