Good Show, not great
I've always said Bon Jovi gets better every time I see them (about a dozen times now), but this show was the one exception. I can accept the sound drop-out (twice) and the bug in the huge (extremely clear, otherwise) vid screen. Jon, however, looked p*ssed after the second time the sound dropped out.
I was one of the few in the crowd who can claim interaction as Jon gave me the "point" acknowledging my "Runaway" sign (sorry for those behind me, but it was for only a very short time). Sure, others, like the hottie he danced with got some attention, but not like in the past.
Sitting so close you're not AT a Jovi concert, you are PART of it. This helps increase the energy level and the concert experience as a whole.
The guys looked tired, but put on a GOOD show...albeit, not a GREAT show.
Don't get me wrong, even this mediocre performance would blow away some bands I've seen. Maybe they've set the bar too high for themselves.
The opening band Jaded Era was pretty good too. Not perfect, but she has a great range.
I'm planning on hitting more shows for this tour and the best part is that I know they'll only get better!!
