7 December 2005 - Uniondale, NY, USA Concert Review 9 December 2005
Some Things Never Change

A review by Sean

Bon Jovi packed Nassau Coliseum to the rafters on Wednesday December, 7. The band sounds like a well-oiled machine. They have always delievered the goods live and this show was no exception. The set list was fairly strong. They played 8 songs off their new album, Have A Nice Day. I can understand a band wanting to play material from its latest album but I feel that they should drop the songs Novocaine and Story Of My Life from the set and replace them I Want To Be Loved and maybe I Am which are better songs. The acoustic set in the middle of the show got a little long. I would rather them have played the "traditional" versions of I'll Be There For You, Blaze Of Glory and Bed Of Roses but that's just my taste. Also, they should drop The Radio Saved My Life Tonight from the set as well. If they want to add forgotten gems to the show, something like Homebound Train or Wild In The Streets would work a lot better. Also Keep The Faith should be in the show every night. These are small nitpicks. The show rocked big time and these guys have plenty left in the tank.
