Rockin' in a free world
After some hours of waiting in the summer heat, they began with Livin'/Bad Name which rocked the crowd and even the one on the seats stood up. Then came Captain Crash and Say it isn't so. A bad decision in my eyes. But then Jon began to dance while One wild night began. A great scene!
Then came the first real highlight. They played Born to be my baby and the whole stadium waved their hands in the air. It was fantastic! Next was It's my life and everybody clapped his hands.
Then they played a very slow version of I'd die for you. After this came Bed of roses. The audience sang so loud that you couldn't hear Jon anymore. Great! I'm not sure what came next, but I think it was Someday I'll be Saturday night. The next highlights were Wild in the streets and at the end of the show Bad Medicine within he played I feel good by James Brown and Shout!
After almost two and a half hours they finished with Keep the Faith.
Finally I could say that it was a great gig, but in a certain way I was dissapointed because they didn't play Always, In these Arms or Blaze of Glory.
