19 August 2000 - London, UK Concert Review |

My first time!
As you may have guessed (the title of this review gives a big clue) this was my first Bon Jovi concert. I had been a fan for about 5 or 6 months on the day of the concert.
From start to finish the concert was brilliant. The Dum Dums were Ok, Toploader a bit better but BJ rocked. The quality of their live signing was awesome.
I joined in with all the songs that i knew the words to, especially the older ones such as 'Livin' on a prayer' and 'You give love a bad name'. The newer songs were equally good with 'Next 100 years' and 'It's my life' being favourites.
I came away from the concert with BJ songs playing in my head. My friend complained that they weren't that good but he was comparing them to the 'Stones at Wembley.
I can't wait until the 2001 tour now and will be counting down the days!
