I must admit coming into this concert I wasn't as excited as previous times (Manchester was my fifth Jovi gig) I knew that they always put on a good show, but with the last couple of albums (the standard Bon Jovi formula the kind of songs they can write in their sleep) I thought their popularity might be on the wane and I was expecting a ground not quite full and a crowd kind of resigned to the standard Jovi set-list. But how wrong could I have been, the place was rammed! the view, sound and coupled with a great set-list in which for the first 90mins just rocked (not a ballad in sight!)was fantastic. The crowd was in full voice singing along to every word, clapping and waving their hands in the air, and you saw from the reaction of the band that they fully appreciated this and fed off the electricity that the crowd generated throughout the night. So overall a great gig, you always know that with Jovi you're going to get your monies worth. The only downside was the shoddy organisation of the Manchester stewards who where clueless and best.
