Have a nice day....yeah i did!!!

A review by Clareybabes / clare.martin@hotmail.co.uk

Oh my days....

Last night at coventry was my 8th Bon Jovi concert since 1993!! I treated myself this year and had gold circle tickets, and they were soooo worth it!!

Making our way into the new arena we (my sister and I) with our matching pink t-shirts and glitter pink hats to the inner circle at the back to the middle of the arch next to the walkway.....i stood there waiting and not believing that Jon would be stood within feet of where i was!
Nickleback (not sure how they spell it) were good, i new a few of there songs, at one point they started firing t-shirts out of a paintball style gun into the crowd which i thought was a fab idea!!
Then it was time for Bon Jovi to arrive, a couple of new band members came on stage a guitarist and keyboard player i did not catch there names so the stage seemed full!
Jon soon walked acrosss the little bridges off the stag and onto the walkway, it was so exciting knowing thathe was going to be stood by us, not long and there he was,a whole song (last man standing) wa sung on the walkway, what a treat for everyone, he soon popped back on stage and continued!
After the first few songs me and my sister were lucky enough to get on stage, this is the first time that i have been able to do this so i was in pure heaven, we missed a couple of songs whilst we were stood waiting to go on but it was so worth it as Richie was again within feet of me, we shouted to him to come over but he just gave us a smile as he was busy having all those guitar changes.
Luckly i took my camera so i have some amazing pictures of my day.
We came off stage and back into the inner cirlce where i danced and sang for the rest of the night, Jon was suffering as he had bad hayfever so sneezing lots and blowing his nose, it was only once the sun went down that his glasses came off and his eyes looked red, bless him he did a great job, we all did a big Ahhhhhhh but he said he didnt want our sympathy!!

Music was as always fantastic, they sang "these days" which again was a real treat and blood on blood (two of my fav songs that they dont play often)
I had seen on other set lists they play Dry county that would be awsome!!
A great night had by all, the only problem was after the show walking back to the park and ride car park as it was mayhem trying to get out! it took us longer o get to the car park then it did to get ourselfs home and i live 2 hours away!!

Luckly i have gold tickets for tomorrows concert at southampton so i can do it all again!! and maybe see you there i will be in may pink gliter cowboy hat!!!
