I had a ball
Well I gotta say what a gig. I paid the full £60 for my ticket and had a ball. I got down to the KC at about 6.50 what with work and what have you and so after getting a T-Shirt and getting a bit of water and what have you me and the missus wandered in to the stadium to get a good vantage point. I first saw Bon Jovi in 1989 at the NEC on the New Jersey tour and that was an awesome gig and when the KC started doing concerts I always said that if they came to the KC I would be going and so they did and I was. The gig kicked off with Last Man Standing, which was a good choice for an opening track and after that I felt the quality songs kept coming including my personal favourite I’d Die For You. As I am a big fan I feel I am maybe a bit bias but I thoroughly enjoyed the set and sang along to every song and went home very happy. The only negative points were no Nickleback, which I would like to have seen, and a set that lasted just over 2 hours was a bit shorter than some other venues. But other than that the atmosphere at the front was amazing and I also saw a couple of inflatable guitars J and Wanted Dead or Alive was awesome (but were is Ritchie’s double neck guitar). In all I had a wale of a time.
