13 June 2006 - Hull, UK Concert Review 8 July 2006
Great

A review by William Griffiths

Me and my friend went to see bon jovi because the ticket had been reduced to £25 and it was one of the best £25 I've ever spend. After a 2 hour dry from hartlepool which got us into hull for nearly 6pm we went straight to the Kc Stadium. The stadium chose could of been debatable i mean who wants to end a tour in Hull! i understand that it was supposed to off been at Wembley but why not the Don Valley stadium or Gateshead. Bon Jovi came on stage about 8pm by that time it had stopped raining ( thank god ) last man stading seemed to be a dead song from were i was standing as it apperared to be me and my friend and also the guy who was so drunk he though he was at staus quo when rocking all over the world came on.Bad name respond line was a bit quiet however come the end of the song it was quite loud as he got everybody singing. i hate concerts with seats because the people on the seats just tend to sit down for the who concert. it was the same at this one. only during livin on a prayer and keep the faith could everybody stand up! However that did not stop the poeple on the floor from having a good time. by this point the drunking man had been thrown out because he throw a plactic bottle. I loved Born to be my baby and most of the older song which went down well with the 26,000 i must admit for ages after the tickets went on sale i thought Bon Jovi would of done Knebworth and 125,000 people thats if you could get that many to go! however i really enjoyed hull and even though the 2hour 15 min concert might not of been enjoyed by others i can clearly say i enjoyed it. evenm if bobn jovi might not have had a good time i was still enteratin and cannot wait for him to do it agin.

ps. Next time come north!
