21 July 2006 - Chicago, IL, USA Concert Review 28 July 2006
Thumbs up

A review by Adrien

It was my first time in Chicago. (I'm from Montreal)

The city is great.

The show was good.

I'm always amazed at how much people love "Who says you can go home" in the US. Jon was in an excellent shape and he even add "Keep the Faith" which was not on their set list - that I got from the sound tech. (Personaly not the best way to end a concert but who am I to tell!)

"Last man standing" seemed more appropriate as an opener than "Rockin' in a free world" at the Giants Stadium or Montreal.

Richie was awesome in "I'll be there for you" as he always is. "Raise your hands" and the "Shout" insert makes the crowd go nuts.

I'm glad I missed Nickelback though... From what I heard while I was outside the Soldier Field, they did the exact same thing they did in Montreal...

The Windy City was great!
