Review from Pittsburgh, only back on 1993
Hello there Bon Jovi fans, I´m from Monterrey, Mexico and I´d like to share my review from my first and only Bon Jovi concert. This was in Pittsburg, only that back on summer ´93, when Keep the faith was out and rocking.
It was a great night, I was in town studying english and I woke up early in the morning the day the tickets went on sale. Stood out of the store for like 30 minutes, and got to class late, but it didn´t matter, I had my ticket to Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!
When the concert started, the audience went nuts, it was so loud I couldn´t hear myself, and let me tell you we were at an amphitheater, in the open air, so I guess the guys were as surprised as I was to hear such a loud welcome.
Even though In these arms wasn´t performed, it still was a great concert. But it would have been an even greater night if they had played I´ll be there for you, my all time Bon Jovi number 1.
I still remember Richie walking out first, playing I believe, and then the big pyro blast to hit it off. I had bought a middle seat on the 10th or 12th row, so I had a great view. And the guys went through all the classics. Lay your hands on me was another highlight for me, and closing with Living on a prayer, oh god!!! I was still singing on the way back.
I´m now hoping they´ll come to Monterrey on their Lost Highway tour. Sure, their music has changed quite a lot, but they´re still Bon Jovi, they still rock every arena, stadium, festival, wherever they show up.
Finally, to all the Bon Jovi fans, and if Jon and the guys read this, thank you for making that night one of the best of my life, one night we, who were there that night, will never forget. And if you decide to play I´ll be there for you again, please do it in Monterrey.
Thank you Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
