15 June 2011 - Oslo, Norway Concert Review 18 June 2011

A review by Cicci / cicci.sjostrom@gmail.com

Raise your hands
You give love a bad name
Born to be my baby
We weren't born to follow
In these arms
Superman tonight
It's my life
Blaze of glory
Damned
Captain Crash and the beauty queen from Mars
Bad medicine/Hot legs/Pretty woman
Lay your hands on me
What do you got?
Bed of roses
Diamond ring
I'll be there for you
Someday I'll be Saturday night
Who says you can't go home
I'll sleep when I'm dead
Love's the only rule
Have a nice day
Keep the faith

Encore:
Wild is the wind
Wanted dead or alive
I'd die for you
Livin' on a prayer

I found out quite late about the concert in Oslo so I didn't really get a goot seat, but I figured there'd be a party going on in the back rows as well. I was wrong. About 3 seconds into the intro of "Raise you hands" I realized that everyone around me was sitting and looked like they were planning on doing it all night long. So I did the only thing I could - I ran out on the field and tried to get as close to the stage as possible. I got about halfway and saw many very boring Norweigans standing with their back to the stage, talking to their friends. WHY buy an expensive ticket to a concert if you're now even going to watch the band play?!? I didn't let them get to me though, I had my own party going on in the middle of those boring people - clapping, jumping, singing and dancing!
And now to the important thing: the show! It was a truly amazing set list and I have to say, except for the boring audience, the best Bon Jovi concert I've been to!! I hardly even noticed the rain :)
