15 August 2000 - Zeltweg, Austria Concert Review 16 August 2000
Just great!

A review by maja kraljic / maja_kraljic@hotmail.com

It was my first BJ concert and it couldn't been better!

First part of the show the band played mostly songs from their new album Crush like Captain Crash" Beauty queen from mars, It's my life, Say it isn't so, One Wild Night, Just older, I got the girl. They had also Shout and Rocking all over the world for midlay. Jon sang Runaway like a ballad with David on keyboards. Someday i'll be a saturday night was great to hear. There were quite a few songs from New Jersey: Lay your hands on me, Bad Medicine, Born to be my baby, Living in sin, Blood on Blood. Next 100 Years, Keep the faith and These days for the end.

It was a really great concert! Jon was dancing with girls on the stage and one ran to him on the center of the stage and kissed him - twice :) He went down the stage and gave fans a chance to touch him.

Jon was wearing a white I think leather jacket and pants with burning flames on the side. Richie had leather pants and orange shirt and than changed it to some brown.

Jon told a nice story about how the members of the group took him on the tour while he was waiting on new Hollywood offer.

There were two Encores and I think the whole show lasted for about 2 hours 40 min. At the end there were great fireworks.

It was wery spacial for me to se Jon who I been listening for the past 5 years every day - it was a dream come true and after the concert I felt like "My heart is like an open highway" and I was really happy to sing with the band all their songs.

Like Jon said on the end: Keep the faith baby!
