Worth a broken car
Bon Jovi rocked the house. I've been a fan since i was 5 years old when i got Slipery When Wet. Amazing. It took some 15 years to finally see him in concert. Truly amazing. I felt like some freak when I got excited about them finally coming out, but I realized that doing something like that is OK, because Bon Jovi has had a huge impact on my life. Their songs always give me something to sing too when I am drunk, and when I feel like the world is closing in on me, I play Someday I'll be Saturdat Night, and know that it can't be bad forever. That's what helped me through the fact that my car overheated in Dallas after the concert, and I had to be back in Austin for a Government final the next day at 930. Getting home at 5 and waking up a few short hours later was well worth the experience of my life, because the show was worth it, and Bon didn't dissapoint. For anyone who says they are over the hill, past their time, or washed up....well, I imagine those are the same people who listen to Backstreet Boys, NSync and Brittney Spears, and wouldn't know rock n roll if it slugged them in the face. Excellent show, and I can't wait for them to come back.
