4 May 2001 - Columbus, OH, USA Concert Review 6 May 2001
sensational

A review by rock 'n roll church gooer / dudewannabe@yahoo.com

The crowd went absolutely crazy for Bon Jovi. I'm seventeen and I recently began indulging myself with the wonders of Bon Jovi..It was sensational to see the teens from the ninties blend in with the once-upon-a-time-teens from the 80's...Bon Jovi can do that...What other artist can draw audiences from and age span of 9 to 89!!!! Unlike some measly Nsync concert overflowing with 20,000 thirteen year old girls, I shared the room with raging grown women, hysterically matured men, ass-kickin grandmas, and ongoing ranges of Bon Jovi freaks. While the long-time-Bon-Jovi obsessors filled in lyrics for songs from way back such as Livin on a Prayer (which i knew at any rate), the younger fans sang to the newly written songs like "just older"... lets just say that before the concert, i liked them...and now, i worship them...i COULD absorb myself with the pettiness of today's pop culture- backstreet boys, britney spears, eminem and what not- but i chose to party with the HOTTEST ROCK N' ROLL band ever to exist. Bon Jovi didnt just rock the house, they gave me (as like many others i'm sure) the best night of my life thusfar...untill next time....(my heart is still pumping from last night's adrenaline rush..) P.S. bon jovi can outlast any so-called-boy-band any day....as Jon bon Jovi would say, "you've got a man-band up here!"
