AAHHHHHHH!
Feverish. Exciting. Energizing. Sweat-inducing. Ear-popping. Must I go on? My first Bon Jovi concert (yes, I'm a bit green, but have loved them for a while)was amazing! Anyways, SR-71 gave a great punk-laced performance (the highlight was a hip rendition of AC/DC's "Shook Me All Night Long")and then the boys came on with the familiar but lovable elevator entrance. That was the beginning to one very wild night!!
All of my favorite songs were played, and I especially enjoyed the prolonged beginning to "Lay Your Hands on Me" as opposed to the other versions where they just start it singing a cappella.
I also noticed that there were fewer ballads played than I expected, and hey, that's alright, 'cause I shook my bootay on the floor for everyone to see!!
What a great night!! It was really one of the most spectacular shows I have ever seen...I'm sure everyone in attendance will agree!
CLEVELAND ROCKS!!
PS The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame appearance was great too; standing for over 3 hours just to hear the boys speak was worth it!! |
