London Cowboys
After watching Jon and the boys at Milton Keynes in the These Days Tour, I remember thinking I don't think I'll ever see a better show again. Last night gave it a damn good go. After reading so much in the press questioning whether or not Jon is still so 'up for it' seeing Jon rock his bollocks off for 2 and a half hours slammed the answer down the press's throat. I'm still coming to grips with the new album, and speaking to people there last night, many others are as well. Its My Life, Just Older and One wild Nights are great, but doesn't really compare to Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted, and Bad Name off the Slippery When Wet Album. Anyway enough album review, heres the concert review. Londons Calling was the starting song, and most people didn't know what the hell he was singing. I don't think he'll be doing that one again. Then he got the big guns out and rocked Wembley with songs such as Livin' on A Prayer and Bad Name. Jon played a lot off stuff from Crush, (after all it is the crush tour) but I think only a few of the crush songs got the crowd going. Its My Life was one of the highlights of the life along with Just Older (How he was able to sing that so well still baffles me) and One Wild Night). But Jon still remebered to include some old songs dug up from under the carpet, and wow hearing One Wild Night, Blood on Blood and Born to be my Baby was simply fantastic. Jon it was a great night, but what happened to anything off the These Days album. 5 Years ago you were saying that it was the best album you wrote.
Welcome back Bon Jovi, don't leave it so long the next time.
End Verdict, simpy amazing, but still not as good as the These Days tour.
P.S your highest ranking single in the UK was Always, where was it last night????
