3 June 2001 - Werchter, Belgium Concert Review 4 June 2001
Bon Jovi Rocked Belgium

A review by Anne /

"Belgium, Werchter 3rd June 2001 ONE WILD NIGHT TOUR"

Finally the big day was there. Everybody was ready to welcome Bon Jovi and rock with the best band in the world.

The weather was not good: rain, cloudy and cold but nothing can't stop a Bon Jovi fan.

Mel C was there to open the show. She sang for more or less 40 min. To be honnest I'm not a Spice Girl fan and either a Mel C one. But I must admit that it was ok especially when she sang "Northen Star".

The stage was so beautiful. Three big screens: left, center on the top and on the right side.

At 9pm, the pressure was there.
Big screens and lights are on. We can see Bon Jovi in backstage on the big screen! Fans are exicted and very happy to welcome them.
They came on stage with a cool intro: Their first song was One Wild Night.

The setlist was wonderful: I'm not sure about the good order but all songs are there. The only problem was the problems with the sound and lights. There were 3 electric problems but we didn't care! Bon Jovi was there in front of a thousand fans VERY EXCITED.

One wild night
Bad name
It's my life
Captain crash
Born to be my baby
Say it'snt so
Livin on a prayer
I got a girl
Just older
Wild in streets
Lay your hands on me
Sleep when I'm dead
Bad medicine/Shout

Blood on blood
Keep the faith
Saturday Night

In these arms
Dead or alive
Tequila/Twist & shout

I'll be there for you

They were amazing on stage as usual but it's one of their best belgian concert. They were in a very good mood and we could see that they were really happy to sing with us.

THANK YOU BON JOVI AND COME BACK SOON. We already miss you :-)
