Another amazing night at Wembley - a fitting way to close the curtains on one of the world's most famous venues. The show was almost identical to last night's (apart from the additions in the encore) - a bit of a shame they didn't mix it up a bit more (maybe add Mystery Train or Never Say Goodbye) but its testament to the strength of the Crush material that the ten songs played (almost half the set) fitted in perfectly. Tonight, Its My Life gets the vote for song of the night - simply amazing. Less technical problems than last night, although Richie's guitar died just before the all important solo part of Next 100 Years - miraculously they sorted the problems out just in time (albeit with a bit of help from Jon with some impromptu crowd singalong. Moment of the night had to be at the beginning when the video screens showed the band moving from the dressing room to the stage. As the screen showed the band emerge into daylight from the concourse, you could see them walking along a catwalk to the stage, waving and punching the air madly as more and more of the crowd realised that they could see with their own eyes what the screens were showing close up! Jon seemed to really appreciate the significance of the occasion and told everyone that it was a night that none of the band would forget as long as they lived. All in all another great night and despite getting a couple of doses of Bad Medicine in quick succession I hope we see them back on these shores again very soon. On this weekend's showing, no other band could ever hope to touch them.
