20 August 2000 - London, UK Concert Review 21 August 2000
Wembley's most memorable night

A review by one very happy person / dan79@dhouse79.freeserve.co.uk

What can I say, wow. The only way to describe last night was one of the best nights of my life. For those of you who didn't make it to the most memorable concert in the history of wembley, boy you really missed out on something.

Jon and the rest of the band were absolutely amazing and didn't fail to rock the crowd for one minute of the 2 and three quarter hours. Every song saw the crowd go absolutely wild.

The best moments of the night for me were when Jon sang Wanted dead for alive, but I enjoyed every song just as much. Blaze of Glory would have done nicely though. After 3 encores, the end of the night saw Jon walking slowly off the stage, still singing Thank you for loving me, while you could still see him on the screens, you could no longer see him on the stage. And that was it apart from the million fireworks that lit up the whole stadium to bring a magical end to a magical night. Hope he doesn't leave it too long till next time.

Sorry I haven't included a set list but did I really want to be sat there writing down songs when JON BON JOVI was right there in front of me. I don't think so.
