Oh dear Michael.....
This was the 17th time that I've seen the band, the first time way back in the eighties during my misspent youth! I have to say that as far as bands go, they are the best I've seen and I'll continue to do so as long as I'm able!!
Don't be too down on the people who like the new stuff, it's quite possible that they're off out this minute to buy the more 'vintage' albums after hearing some of the tracks played last night, and as long as people keep purchasing the music, Bon Jovi will keep playing.
I thought the sound was fine (this may be because I'm a bit deaf from all the other times..) and call me a softy but I rather liked Mr BJ's rendition of 'I Can't Help Falling In Love With You', let's face it, he knew we would sing it back!
The man is a born showman, and we all ought to be thankful that Bon Jovi are still coming around and making great music, it's far better to see a live band who can perform than listen to some of the dross that's out there these days....
You'll just have to go see them again some time!
