13 June 2001 - Huddersfield, England, UK Concert Review 14 June 2001
One Wild Night!

A review by Jennifer / jennywrenuk_2000@hotmail.com

This was only the second time I have seen Bon Jovi and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed! By the time the support bands had finished the atmosphere was amazing. You couls feel the excitement and anticipation as we waited for the stars of the show. Mexican Waves made their way around the stands as the sun began to show. And then suddenly there was applause and screaming from those in the stands who could see backstage, and the opening sequence began with the guys in the elevator. The familiar music of One Wild Night came through and suddenly the crowd was more alive than it had been all night.

After going to Gateshead last August I rushed out and bought more albums and I'm glad that I did because I was able to sing along to those excellent anthems, making the night more memorable for me. The fireworks were stunning and I thought It was a really good idea to have them going off in one of the songs. Next time I go to a Bon Jovi concert I will be up on that stage dancing with my favourite Rock Band, if it is the last thing I do! I had a fantastic time and there had better be more where it came from!
