13 June 2001 - Huddersfield, England, UK Concert Review 16 June 2001
Nadia and Claire's Wild Night

A review by Nadia Saint and Claire Packett / adam.saint@unn.ac.uk

One Wild Night was promised and delivered.Jon,Richie and the boys performed a mixture of old classics and newer songs in typically energetic and emotional style. In addition to blistering performances of Livin' On A Prayer,You Give Love A Bad Name,Bad Medicine and I'll Sleep When I'm Dead,Crush was revisited.Next 100 Years was a particular highlight with Richie's fantastic guitar solo. The power-ballads Bed Of Roses and In These Arms were beautifully done, with Jon's voice accurate and full of emotion. The crowd was particularly good when singing the live version of Livin' On A Prayer(From the live album),and I think Jon was impressed! There were also a few surprises-covers of Twist And Shout and I Can't Help Falling In Love With You brilliantly performed."This is the University of Huddersfield"said Jon-how right he was...amazing.
