Bowled Over (!!!)
Well, this was my 4th Bon Jovi concert and certainly the longest!! - 2hr 45mins! - great! The sound quality was the best it has ever been, and the stage looked great. I especially loved the way they entered the stage at the beginning - with the CCTV inside the lift and them walking out on to the stage!! The support acts were ok (Matchbox 20 - I liked the brass .... and the lead guitarist was excellent).
As for the New Jersey lads, well they were on top form, and you could tell they were all up for it and enjoying themselves.
Jon was the great stage performer he always has been, however he was 'milking it' a bit and seemed a bit 'up himself' on ocassions!! (can't really blame him though! - i'm just jealous I guess!!).
All the hits were played. My fav's on the night included Its My life, I'll Be There For You, Wild In The Streets and Keep The Faith. The fireworks just added that little touch when they were set off !!!
My only disappointment (and I was quite gutted about this) was that they didn't play ONE song from 'These Days', which is personally my favourite album. When I saw them at Milton Keynes in 1996 they played Its Hard Letting You Go, Something To Believe In, All I want Is Everything, and My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms - all which were amazing!
Also, the setlist was a bit predictable after reading the setlist from the other UK tour dates on this site (I was slightly worried they weren't going to play Livin' On a Prayer though!!).
Anyway, a truly great night and can't wait to see them again very soon!!
