16 June 2001 - Milton Keynes, England, UK Concert Review 17 June 2001
Milton Keynes One Wild Night

A review by Melissa / melissa_hibbert@hotmail.com

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!

What a night! Together with the rest of the 65,000 people all packed into the National Bowl, I was amazed and exhausted by the end of the 2 and a half hour set. This is the second time I've seen them and I wasn't let down. The sight of 65,000 people 'raising there hands' gives you a real buzz that you can't get from anywhere else. Starting with 'One Wild Night' and finishing with 'Living On A Prayer' it was a performance picked with classic hits and popular crowd pleasers all the way through. I must say, Although Jon's sense of fashion seems to be getting worse with age (I mean what was he thinking with that hat?), His performing only gets better! Mix that with the guitar talents of Richie, the Keyboard playing of David, Hugh on the Bass guitar and Tico's fantastic Drumming and you get the recipe for a performance to good to forget! Well Done Bon Jovi on, yet another, fantastic gig! I hope we see you next year!
