24 June 2001 - Hamburg, Germany Concert Review 26 June 2001
Just 40.000??

A review by conny

Are you people sure nthat it was just 40 000 in the crowd? Iīm from Sweden so I couldnt read the german newspapers the day after but for me it seemed like much more than 40 000. I had been thinking about 60 000-70 000.. bad..

Anyway it was a great show and the introducing of "Itīs my life" ("You know this one. Itīs a ballad. A lovesong")was so fucking cool and really got the crowd going when Richie started the talkbox.

I must say that Prayer were in the best acoustic version Iīve ever heard, like someone else wrote, so for me, that was no problem. But I think itīs band because these fans which have never seen BJ before wants the real version so I absoultely think that they should play Prayer as they use to do. Everyone ever been on a Bon Jovi concert knows that Prayer is ALWAYS one of the highlights.

Anyone more than me which thought it was fun that the stereo played Aerosmiths "Love in an elelvator" before the elevator-entrance with the boys?

Was it just 40.000??
