24 June 2001 - Hamburg, Germany Concert Review 26 June 2001
Hey, Hamburg was great, don't tell me it was not!

A review by Tina *RosieSambora* / shymanga@luckymail.de

I was there in Hamburg and although it was my first concert ever and I wasn't in the first row, I think the guys did a great show! I've never seen something like this, most of the guys around me were singing and enjoying the show! One of them let me sit on his shoulders during my favorite songs! Thanks to you though I haven't ever seen you before!

Someone wrote about the difference between young and old. I am fourteen and I know all songs (I love them even more than the ones of CRUSH and I am very happy that so many old songs were played!) and others did so, too! And I did my best to make other people sing! Believe me!! But most of the older ones around me looked at me as if I'd do something forbidden when I screamed "Richie" and sang as loud as I could. I guess Hamburg was a show where many people went, which are not real fans - they've just heard one or two songs and maybe they've bought CRUSH. But this is not a excuse for their singing, that's right!

The Trabrennbahn is completely different from other places which are usually big stadions. It's a big field and a place where you also can sleep. Many of us were sitting on the grass during the first bands, the Stereophonics were not so good. I remember them to be better. They couldn't make us hungry to see Bon Jovi, so it's not only our fault that you might say Hamburg's fans were lazy!

OK, I have learned not to believe to the newspaper, they tell only the not-so-good side of BJ. I know that BJ are/were/will be the best band of all times and I don't need to care about people who hate them! I've heard Jon shouting: "This is my church, the church of rock 'n roll! Do you believe? Do you believe in us?..." and I really do! No one can tell me what to think and I hope you all will keep the faith, too! It's true, we need something so believe in, 'cause the world gives us nothing these days!!
;-)))
