but after all... I will never say goodbye
I am totally disappointed with the concert of last night, above all after reading all the wonderful comments made by other people who went to other concert dates. The concert was only 95 minutes against the 2 hours and a quarter of other dates! (Imagine that we have been travelling all the day and we had two puntured tyres to change!)
Why? jon bon jovi had no voice, and it can happen, we would have understood if he had said: "sorry guys, there have been so many wild nights that tonight I am a bit sick, I've tried to do my best.. anyway thank you for being here". No... he didn't say anything, he just finished a song and went away. All the audience believed that he came out again singing keep the faith, but when the lights of the stadium turned on everybody looked each other realizing that was the end and saying "Already finished?!?!"
The only possible explanation is that jon was disappointed because the concert was not sold out! (at the beginning he said "hey you are a lot!!!!")
For the first time in my life I felt no that sentimental link between audience and performer that give to the night that kind of magic.
But for the power of rock I thank jon and the wonderful band for existing and above all for their songs!
never say goodbye!
