26 June 2001 - Zurich, Switzerland Concert Review 29 June 2001
THE HOTTEST DAY FOR THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!

A review by TONI / toni_m55@hotmail.com

What a sunny day!! But it doesn’t matter. I saw the band playing and that’s the important thing.

The party began soon with the opening act: Southside Johnny with Jon Bon Jovi singing the last 3 songs!!! (‘I’ve Working too hard’, ‘This Is Time For Real’, 'Having A Party'). At 6:30 began Gothard and at 8:10 started the real rock ‘n’ roll. The beginning was so incredible!! “One Wild Night” opened the show and then the best song of the night, “Raise Your Hands”. What a great beginning!! “Wild Is The Wind” was the surprise of the show and it sounded perfectly. It was a pity that there weren’t too many people who knew the song. “It’s My Life” sounded like the album, “Lay Your Hands On Me” was very energetic (Richie had to change his guitar due to technical problems) and “Livin On a Prayer” was a perfect ending. The only song that shouldn't have been played was "Blaze Of Glory". (Why not "Stranger In This Town"?)

To sum up, Bon Jovi stills rocks and they’ll never say goodbye!! Keep the faith and...believe me whan I say rock ‘n’ roll is here to stay!!
