hi to everybody!
i have to say the concert in vienna yesterday was awesome. i won't tell you now how good the band was. they were great. and i don't want to tell you how great the show was. it was awesome. and the people in vienna really got into the concert. i saw a similar (vienna-)crowd reaction only once, at the bruce springsteen concert 2 years ago. but what i want to say is that the guys should get a new sound-crew for the next tour. i guess i had not a bad place, cause i was moving around during the concert. and i also saw other concerts on this tour. but sometimes the sound was really "thin". and the sound-mixer missed the cues often. no keyboards on the "lay your hands" intro on the left channel for example. richie's guitar should have been much louder. especially on songs like one wild night and bad name. and sometimes when the band cracked into a song together at once like on born to be my baby it seemed like the sound was overloaded. but i'm a musician by myself and i know how difficult it is to get a perfect sound at a open air facility. you have to deal with wind and like yesterday with empty seats. but i know how great a sound can be open air. just take the ac/dc open airs this year. or bruce springsteen had an awesome, powerfull sound too at his open airs. but i don't want to complain all the time. BON JOVI REALLY ROCKED VIENNA YESTERDAY!!! and for all those how are interested: i guess the attendence yesterday was about 40-45.000. it wasn't sold out, but almost. setlist had nothing special. the concert lastet for about 2 1/2 hours. thanx god jon was in fine form and not like in italy 2 days ago. i hoped they would play i'll be there for you, cause i never heard this one live before. i always have the "luck" to pick the concerts where the play anything else but not i'll be there...ok, thanx to bon jovi for this great concert. hope to see you guys again soon.
